About Our History
The Cayman Islands Society of Anaesthesiologists (C.I.S.A) is a newly-formed organisation thats works within the Cayman Islands, united by a common desire to advance and enhance the practice of anaesthesiology and continually improve the delivery of the service to patients. Â

Registered in 2023
CISA was registered in 2023, has a nine-member Board of Directors and a current membership of 22 Consultant Anaesthesiologists.
The Mission of the Society:
To promote excellence in anaesthesia care and education, expand the recognition of the field and advocate for the highest standard of professional practice.
The objectives of CISA include:
(1) safeguarding the interests of the profession and its members.
(2) providing a forum for the exchange of ideas, analysing problems and identifying solutions.
(3) improving access to and safety of anaesthesia services.
(4) establishing relationships between other societies within and outside the Cayman Islands.
